Johnson Park Nature Preserve

(Two blocks south down Meadowdale from the tour route). Residents feel like they're in the country when they stroll past the DANIEL N. JOHNSON NATURE PRESERVE on Beech Valley Drive. Paths lead into a ravine, preserved as a natural flood plain and home to a variety of plant and animal life. The preserve was deeded to the city of Atlanta in 1935.
