The MLPA periodically organizes member only events at various restaurants in the neighborhood and are a great way to mingle with some of the neighbors.

The 2008 Morningside Lenox Park Tour of Homes is scheduled for October 11 and 12. Susan Schlittler, chair, and Marsha McNeer, co-chair, are working to set up Tour committees and events. The 2008 Tour will show the diversity of lifestyles in Morningside and Lenox Park. Plans include showcasing seven homes: large and small, new and old, renovated and historic. For 2008, the Tour will also highlight outdoor living--two gardens, patios or outdoor spaces will be featured in addition to the homes. Several committee positions have been filled, but people are still needed to chair and co-chair committees. And volunteers are needed in all areas.
