MLPA Security Patrol
The Morningside Security Patrol (MSP) is comprised entirely of off-duty Atlanta Police Officers who are empowered to enforce the law.
The primary purpose of the Morningside Patrol is to augment our regular services from the APD. The Patrol serves the residents of the Morningside, Lenox Park, and Johnson Estates neighborhoods, an area of the City of Atlanta that is often referred to as simply Morningside.
For any matter requiring the Atlanta Police Department people should always call 911, as this is how APD monitors where to allocate resources. Remember 911 is NOT just for emergencies.
You can contact the MSP at 404-308-2304, however, that they usually can not pick up this phone, although messages are checked regularly and they return calls.
You can also email the Mark Romzick, the MLPA board member for MSP.
Also affiliated with the MSP is the Neighborhood Deputy Program
What does the Security Membership provide:
Security while you are away. The off duty officers patrol and check on the residences of MSP members whenever they are out of town or away from their homes for any protracted period of time.
Click here for Vacation Requests form or call 404-308-2304 and make your request to have the MSP stopy by while you are away.
