MLPA Volunteer Appreciation Event

Come together with neighbors as we recognize and thank the volunteers whose time and passion strengthen our community. Whether supporting park improvements, advocating for safer streets, enhancing public safety, or engaging with the city on planning and development, your efforts help shape the neighborhood we’re proud to call home. This gathering is our way of showing gratitude for all you do.

Spring New Neighbor Reception

Join us for a casual gathering designed to warmly welcome new faces to the neighborhood. Meet fellow residents, connect with community leaders, and learn about opportunities to get involved. Whether you’ve just moved in or are looking to deepen your connection to the community, this reception is a great way to build relationships and feel right at home. Enjoy a complimentary drink on us along with a delicious spread of light hors d’oeuvres, featuring shrimp & grits, fried green tomatoes, and chocolate mousse.

New Parents Brunch Social

Settle in for a relaxed brunch gathering that brings neighborhood parents together. Enjoy good food, friendly conversation, and the opportunity to connect with others navigating life with young families nearby. Whether you’re new to parenthood or welcoming another little one, this is a wonderful way to build friendships and find community close to home.

Morningside Wine Walk

Presented by the Morningside Village business community in partnership with MLPA, this strolling wine experience invites you to sample wines from around the globe without ever leaving the neighborhood. Along the way, enjoy live street art, connect with neighbors, and soak in the local atmosphere. Best of all, your participation supports a local animal rescue organization, helping provide care and new beginnings for pets in need.

Fall New Neighbor Reception

Join us for our final New Neighbors Reception of the year as we celebrate and welcome the newest members of our community. This relaxed, drop-in gathering is a chance to meet friendly faces, connect with neighborhood leaders, and discover ways to get involved. Whether you’re brand new to the area or simply hoping to get more connected, come enjoy good conversation and start building the relationships that make our neighborhood feel like home.

Monster Dash 5k

The Monster Dash returns to Morningside–Lenox Park for another morning of Halloween-themed fun, fitness, and festive thrills! On Saturday, October 24th, lace up for a 5K run or walk through the scenic streets of our neighborhood, where costumes are encouraged and spirits are high. This family-friendly, chip-timed event is perfect for runners, walkers, and ghouls of all ages.
