The Morningside Lenox Park Association is an all-volunteer organization. Everything we do, from neighborhood events to park upkeep, zoning reviews and the security patrol, depends on neighbors who give some of their time and skills.
We’re always looking for more help. You don’t need special experience. Whether you can give a few hours a year or want to take on a bigger role, there’s a place for you.
Most of our volunteer work happens through our committees. Each one is led by a board member and staffed by volunteers.
Help keep neighbors informed through the website, newsletters, email and social media. Writers, photographers and anyone handy with technology are welcome.
Plan and run the neighborhood gatherings that bring us together throughout the year. Extra hands are always needed for setup, cleanup and event-day help.
Care for our parks, trees, monuments and greenspaces through cleanups, plantings and park improvement projects.
Email volunteer@mlpa.org and tell us a little about yourself, including which committees interest you and how much time you’d like to give. If you’re not sure where you’d fit best, just say so and we’ll help you find the right spot.
